Advanced imaging equipment
Based on your illness or injury, you may need imaging to diagnose the problem. To speed up your diagnosis, our ER facilities are equipped with X-ray and ultrasound machines, as well as on-site CT scanners. Each UF Health Center has a skilled radiology team to ensure a correct diagnosis. The radiology staff works closely with our ER doctors to reinforce our emergency care.

When your child has a health emergency, every second counts. Part of that is making sure every smile and caring word counts, too. Our pediatric emergency specialists know how important it is to offer a calm, comforting place where parents feel supported and youngsters feel safe. We want you to have the smoothest possible ER experience. Knowing you have insurance coverage is one way to help ease the stress of an emergency. This coverage is a contract between you and your insurance company, and we accept most plans. We’ll make every effort to move your claim through to your health plan company.
